| "Pride & Prejudice: A Musical" is a collaborative effort from Ann Kapp Andersen and Deborah Morris and had its origin 20 years ago when Deborah began jotting down lyrics for what she hoped would be a musical version of her favorite book. The project was shelved, however, until Deborah met composer Ann Kapp Andersen (Janice's sister) in 2001 in Bavaria, Germany, where their husbands were stationed with the Dept. of Defense. Their production premiered in August 2008 as part of the Orem Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre season and after running there for two weeks jumped over for a week-long run at BYU Education Week. |
